Why is I can't find ANY wireless networks untill I turn my phone
upside down and hit Rescan. Who ever thought it was a great idea to
put the antenna on the BOTTOM of a handheld device anyway???

iPhone Locate Me

Wow, this Locate Me app is pretty cool. I never noticed before I shot this screenshot that it figures out and shows my latitude and longitude before it switches to map view to plot my location (which it was getting ready to do).
Great map/GPS type app!

iPhone application problems

My wish today is that my phone wasn't messed up again.
Some application has it so goofed up I can't use the buttons in any of my other apps at all. It won't even go in standby properly in that the screen only dims instead of going black. I should have known when I saw the black and white bars when I went to restart it after it hung. Too bad I don't remember which app I was using when it hung because I was trying out a few different new ones. I think maybe it was iFob.
Well, I'm trying a 10 minute power off to see if that will at least let me use uninstaller. That seemed to work the last time when the other screenshot application put me in this same mess.

This is a pretty cool idea. It would be nice though if there was a way to browse alphabetically to find them faster. Great job on the iPhone TouchBar so far... can't wait to see what features are coming next.

I wish the audible/vibrate switch on the side of the iPhone could

iPhone Installer / Updater

I wish the Installer app only showed me available updates that are
compatible with my current firmware version. That way I won't keep
getting the error message that won't allow me to use the Update All
feature.

Twinkle not working

Just installed Twinkle on my iPhone but apparently it won't work on
mine. It tries to load but the screen is black and then the
application closes itself.
Strange.

Been slacking off with this, I know. Sorry. Been slammed. Here's my latest Summerboard screenshot.

And for my latest iPhone wishes.... If you notice in my screenshot, I have 5 panels now of desktop icons. As you can imagine, I can really get assaulted with updates when they all decide to make a minor tweak for compliance.
I wish there was an app to do "Update All" on a schedule that I can set so that I don't have to spend so much time manually updating my apps.

Seems like it would be easy to just add sound files somewhere without using iTunes but I haven't figured out the secret yet. I know an iPhone ringtone app would be awesome but I'd be happy just to be able to add ringtones manually.

iPhone domain search app

Wouldn't it be great if you could search for available domains any time anywhere? An iPhone domain search app tool would be so useful for many people who need to buy domain names and, like me, tend to think of good names at the wrong time.

iPhone Screenshot problem - blinking screen with black bars

This Screenshot application has completely messed up my phone.
When I go into applications the touch screen stops working.
When I try to put the phone in standby the screen only
dims instead of going off (wasting the battery).
When I put it on the charger the screen starts blinking with
black and white stripes. (Looks just like this:

This last one makes me think this is some kind of joke
related to the phrase "jailbroken".
Even after attempting to reboot the phone the madness doesn't end.

Someone else (iphonecrazzy) summed it up perfectly:
"phone booted...Eureka..everything normal but strangely still
the wicked screenshot icons where still visible...
as if laughing at me saying didnt we screw ur happiness??..."

Someone needs to put a stop to this bad app..

How this lousy Screenshot app messes up your phone:
1. Sleep/wake button doesn't work right. Screen only dims for me
2. Power off with the sleep/wake button doesn't stop the
screenshot application from running. It is still running when you
power back up. This is not right. It is almost like it is only
faking a power down with the apple screen somehow.
3. Sometimes when using the sleep button you end up with
a black blinking screen (which you can only tell it's doing that
in certain light). Another battery waster for sure.
4. Hard reset by holding the sleep button and the home button for
a number of seconds can cure most of these goofy hangups....as
long as you are sure it is all the way off. Once it is off completely,
leave it off for 10 minutes before rebooting.
5. After rebooting the floating screenshot icons should be gone.
If they are gone then you can safely go to Installer and uninstall
the Screenshot application.

It will freeze your phone up and make it useless.
You will have flashing black and white bars/lines with the apple
symbol in the background. You touch screen will stop working in
applications.

I sure wish this app would work. It never manages to connect to its
server. Never has. Bummer. Maybe because I don't use Edge???
The iPhone Listen app is an awesome idea if it would only work.

iPhone voicemail button

I could not recall my Cingular voicemail phone number to call voice mail from my iPhone and neither the voicemail button nor the "hold the 1 button" was working.

Well coincidentally (or not... these days nothing seems to be coincidental) I just happened to be curious what I got when I dialed my own number and ran across something nice:

Whodathunkit... I can just dial my own 10 digit cell number from my phone and it now goes straight to my VM. No passwords or anything.

That seems to open a few doors that I wish were closed. I should not need to explain further. Therein lies my iPhone wish of the day.

Another of my iPhone wishes has been granted! The iPhone installer icon now shows how many updates are available.
It doesn't go check on its own yet though but it is a great start.

I love this iPhone Apollo app but I really wish you could set a status or away message. Just recently it has started acting up too and sometimes it doesn't acknowledge that I have signed on from another location.
Otherwise it is great!

I was thinking it would be nice if the iPhone installer icon showed the number of available updates waiting...similar to the way the email and SMS ones do. Seems like I open that app at least a few times a day to check things out.
Actually, separate iPhone Installer and Updater icons would be ideal so that we could also maybe see how many new apps were created that day on an icon without opening Installer.
